Technical SEO Baseline Checklist

A baseline audit should answer one question: can search engines reliably discover, render, understand, and revisit the important pages?

Check the basics first

Confirm every important page returns a 200 status, has one canonical URL, uses a descriptive title, includes a unique meta description, and appears in the XML sitemap.

Then measure quality

Review heading structure, internal links, image weight, mobile layout, and field data. Do not change several variables at once if the goal is to learn from the result.
